Cleveland Rocks! Getting Married in Cleveland
No one wants to be remembered for being jilted at the alter. But for some reason, people across the country associate Cleveland as the city LeBron left. Pity for them. They seem to have forgotten Cleveland was here long before King James came along; and it’ll be here long after. This is the home of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and as Neil Young sings, Rock and Roll will never die. Neither will Cleveland. The city is a rock, durable, and a fighter – a perfect metaphor for your marriage-to-be, which is why you should get married in Cleveland.
Do you have visions of walking down the aisle to an Aerosmith ballad rather than Canon in D Major? Do you prefer electric guitars to oversized harps? Obviously you’re a rocker, making Cleveland the perfect place for your wedding. While there are hundreds and hundreds of places to get married in Cleveland, none might be a better fit for your rock ‘n’ roll dreams than the Mecca of Rock – the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (see photo above) can be reserved for private parties, including your wedding reception. There are several rental options, but the Cadillac of options is the Rock Star Rental, which gives you and your guests access to the entire museum without the hassle of other museum visitors.
Cleveland is a melting pot of ethnicities, and, like many other major cities, has its neighborhoods like Little Italy. But, unique to Cleveland is Slavic Village, which was once filled with Czech and Polish immigrants and still maintains restaurants with a European flair. The Red Chimney Restaurant features Polish and Czech dishes and could be a great place to treat the special people in your wedding party. But if catering for your reception is what you’re looking for, try Marigold Catering.
You could always choose to get married in aquatic style by tying the knot on one of Cleveland’s beaches … that’s’ right, beaches. The land of sand isn’t only for those coastal towns. Lake Erie is aligned with sandy beaches, in and around Cleveland. Any of these beaches can be used for your wedding and/or reception.
While other people might be busy trying to figure out how one obtains a land of “Cleaves” you can better spend your time knowing that Cleveland is an ideal setting for your wedding. Why get married in another city? It’s equal parts tough and tender, sweet and sour. Isn’t the perfect balance exactly what you’re looking for?
